Inside the latest chapter from Piupiuchick — and the pieces we're most excited about for fall.

The Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, School Trip, immediately took us back to those days when the excitement started long before you ever climbed onto the bus. The night before felt impossible to sleep through. Backpacks were packed and repacked. Friends were already deciding who would save seats. Somehow, an ordinary Tuesday became the biggest adventure in the world.

That’s exactly the feeling Piupiuchick captures this season.

Not through costumes or overly literal references, but through pieces that feel lived in, comfortable, and ready for wherever the day happens to go.

What has always drawn us to Piupiuchick is their ability to tell a story without sacrificing wearability. Every season, the graphics become part of the narrative, giving the collection its personality while still feeling timeless enough to wear long after the story has been told.

Just as importantly, they’re one of the brands that consistently understands unisex dressing. The graphics never feel boxed into “for boys” or “for girls,” and neither do the silhouettes. They’re simply great clothes for kids.

That philosophy extends especially to the bottoms, which have become some of our most requested pieces season after season. Relaxed through the leg with comfortable stretch waistbands, they’re the kind of pants children actually want to wear—and the kind parents reach for because they hold up beautifully to everyday life.

This season, we also leaned into a few of the things Piupiuchick does especially well.

First: leopard.

If you’ve followed the brand for a while, you know animal print has become something of a signature. We brought in the coordinating set, but honestly, we love these pieces even more as separates. The classic coloring keeps the print surprisingly versatile, making it easy to pair back to simple tees, denim, knits, and just about everything else in the collection.

And then there’s the denim.

It’s difficult to explain until you feel it in person, but these jeans immediately reminded us of your favorite vintage Levi’s—the pair that’s already been worn for years in all the right ways. Soft from day one, broken in without feeling flimsy, and cut with an easy shape that only gets better with wear. It’s exactly the kind of denim we look for every season, and one of our favorite pieces in the collection.

When choosing styles for The Youngsters, we also paid close attention to fiber content. Nearly everything we've selected is made from soft cottons that feel comfortable from the very first wear. They’re the separates that children can move in now, while still leaving plenty of room for heavier layers as autumn settles in.

That versatility matters.

We want the clothing we bring into the shop to work harder than a single season. We want it to mix easily, wear well, and become a part of real childhood memories—not just lovely photographs.

Perhaps that’s why School Trip resonates so much.

It’s nostalgic without feeling precious. Comfortable without feeling basic. Fun without trying too hard.
